credit information on every adult in the UK and will send you a copy of your
credit file for a £2.00 fee.

Expert
Credit Expert has been set up by Experian to allow you to view your credit
file on-line and even get text alerts when anything changes! This is essential
for anybody concerned about their credit rating or for those who are actively
seeking to repair any negative entries.
Equifax
Equifax are the second largest credit reference agency in the UK. As with Experian,
they hold credit files on every adult UK citizen. Most banks and lending
institutions will use Experian and Equifax to get a full report on any
applicant. They will also send you a copy of your report for a £2.00
fee.
CCCS
Consumer credit counselling service is a Charitable organisation that exists
to help people who are out of their depth with credit and have difficulty
making payments. They can assist with negotiating lower monthly payments
on all unsecured commitments. It does not matter if you
do not own your own home and they do not charge any fee's.
Registry
Trust
Registry trust is a division of the Lord Chancellors office. They hold records
of all County Court Judgements registered in England and Wales. If you are
unsure about how many CCJ's you may have or indeed if you have any at all,
this is the place to find out.
CAB
Citizens advice bureaux is a volunteer based organisation
that exists to help individuals who may have basic legal difficulties
or need assistance dealing with bailiffs or creditors who are giving
you pressure. They can advise you of how you stand legally and will
give you limited assistance.
